A Message From the Director
Welcome to the Summit Preschool of the Mount. We are blessed to have a wonderful teaching staff and supportive ministry staff that are focused on pouring God’s love into each family that is part of the Summit program. It is our goal to provide the love, guidance, and educational opportunities you seek for your child. The early years are crucial to a child’s development, it is our desire that each child has a positive experience here at the Summit Preschool
I began my career in early childhood education in 1995. I came to be part of the Summit in 2014. I married my wonderful husband in 1988. We have 3 grown children, twin daughters, a son, and two wonderful grandchildren. I have been blessed to work in many Christian schools and be a part of growing God’s kingdom by educating and loving the children and families that I have served and continue to serve.
I am excited to continue to be a part of God’s growth at both the Summit Preschool and The Mount Church. My door is always open for any need you might have.
What We Are All About
Summit Preschool is a ministry of The Mount Church that serves children and families of our community. Our mission is to instill a love for God and a love for learning. We embrace each child as a unique creation of God. Our goal is to equip our kids with the fundamental knowledge of God’s love and encourage them to utilize the dynamic gifts with which God has blessed them.
We are committed to nurturing the social, spiritual, and educational development of each child in our care. Our teachers provide opportunities for students to participate in a wide variety of hands-on developmentally appropriate center-based activities. Each room is equipped with learning centers, designed to teach core fundamentals including art, science, fine motor skills, large motor skills, writing, reading, and dramatic play.

Our teachers are crucial to the quality of the Summit program.
Providing good physical care is just the beginning of building trusting, secure relationships needed for a child to thrive. Our teachers are sensitive to individual needs and recognize that each child is unique and different from every other child. Our teachers participate in ongoing training programs including leadership training, staff meetings, and workshops.

Our History
The summit is a state licensed preschool that has been serving the Keller community sinse 2006. It began as a mother’s day out program but has grown to become a 4 day a week preschool. As a ministry of The Mount, we hope to continue to grow and serve our surrounding communities by teaching God’s word and nurturing the spiritual, social and educational needs of families and the children that attend the Preschool.
